DPD Promotional Merchandise

Challenge

DPD came to us with a brief to focus on improving and enhancing their brand visibility and engagement towards families with young children.

Our objective for this project was to offer a user-friendly platform for DPD to select a variety of child-themed merchandise products, with the ultimate goal of helping DPD reach out to families with young children and create a memorable and positive experience.

 

 

Solution

With our long-standing experience in the print management of promotional products, we were certain we could help to boost DPD’s customer engagement with children.

We began by sharing access to a trade partner’s website, exclusively designed for end user businesses like DPD, featuring a wide variety of child-friendly merchandise options. With extensive search functionality and filtered collections, this website made it easy for DPD to have full autonomy of choice and select the items they wanted as opposed to us sending and sharing our ideas.

DPD chose items that aligned with their brand image whilst carefully curating an exciting choice of goods suitable for children. They went for a Teddy Bear wearing a branded hoody, a pine labyrinth game, a wooden Tic Tac Toe game, a wooden Jenga game, a wooden Yoyo, and a compact crayon pot.

Our studio team customised each item with DPD’s branding elements, including logos and colours, to maintain and uphold brand consistency. Once the artwork for print was signed off, everything was rolled out into production and we carried out detailed quality assurance checks to ensure all merchandise met DPD’s exacting standards.

 

Results

This project was a huge success for DPD. There was a boost in customer engagement, particularly among families who shared their branded merchandise experience on social media, and brand visibility was significantly increased, thanks to the engaging, attractive, child-friendly products. The fact that customisable options were available via our trade partner’s website means that DPD have the flexibility to tailor future campaigns specifically to their promotional campaigns and events.
