Leightons are a family run opticians who first opened their doors to the public in 1928. Fast forward to 2024 and the business now occupies 35 branches and offers additional services such as hearing care.
Point-of-sale marketing is designed to capture customer’s attention at the right time to encourage sales, and this is where Leightons needed our help to produce their latest POS window display across all branches.
With so much competition around, the new POS display needed to be eye-catching and eco-friendly whilst being easy and efficient to apply/remove for their visual merchandiser.
We’d previously worked with Leightons to produce Smart X glasses frames for their instore display. Smart X is a distinctive lightweight foamboard, specifically used for demanding visual communication applications and it’s very easy to recycle. With this in mind we thought larger, more eye-catching Smart X glasses frames would complement each store well.
Each Leightons branch is unique in size and appearance so we produced bespoke POS to suit each branch’s existing display and window size. The Smart X frames were supplied in two sizes (700mm and 1200mm) alongside vinyl frames in x 3 sizes and wording sets in x 3 sizes.
After the materials had been printed, we completed fulfilment then shipped each package to their correct branch, saving Leightons lots of time and making the whole production process highly efficient and hassle-free.
This project resulted in a successfully executed, eye-catching POS campaign and Leightons were delighted with the outcome.
“The stores are looking fantastic. Thanks so much for all your help with this campaign. It’s gone down really well.”
