Every year our team eagerly wait for Eyespace’s product photos in preparation for the new season’s POS, brochure and catalogues.
Eyespace work exclusively for independent opticians and when the product images are being created, we know it’s our cue to start liaising with their marketing team to decide on paper specifications and finishes for their sought after catalogue.
Eyespace always come back to us to work alongside them to create stunning marketing collateral for their new season products.
January 2020 was particularly exciting because of the long awaited introduction of the Aspinal of London optical collection. The collection is a favourite amongst celebrities, and you’ll often see the likes of Pippa Middleton and Fearne Cotton sporting the brand.
For the Aspinal of London collection, Eyespace decided on a rich British racing green for their new brochure, catalogue and POS. The chosen colour was an obvious choice; it’s classic, traditional and really resonated with the new launch of their sustainable eyewear brand, Eco Conscious.
For more information on their new eco conscious range, have a read of Eyespace’s blog.
The team at Eyespace were exceptionally keen to ensure the paper spec matched the look and feel of their Eco conscious ethos so we chose EFC papers which utilises the Woodland Trust’s carbon capture initiative.
Once Eyespace were happy with their artwork, our team spot checked it with a fine-tooth comb before providing Eyespace with an Epson proof for initial approval.
Once any revisions and colour tweaks are made, the press pass is planned in. Always with a close eye on the dates and timings, as with all projects of this nature, there is a very tight deadline.
After the Eyespace team make any tweaks, we organise the press pass in line with the project timings and delivery deadline.
The finished result is a stunning, ultra-high-gloss cover, with inners of highly desirable fashion imagery sitting alongside detailed visuals of their latest releases and best-selling products. The catalogue is then mailed out to the Eyespace database along with a personalised letter and a voucher in a fully branded envelope.
Every step of the way, the Birch team and Eyespace marketing team work closely together to ensure we’re using the most cost effective method to get the catalogue out into the optical marketplace, whilst bringing delight to the recipient when it lands on their doorstep.Back to case studies
